MERCH WITH A MISSION!

Honestly, hats have been part of my story for as long as I can remember.

Growing up as the oldest of four girls, we were raised by our single mama — a strong woman who did the best she could with what she had. We spent weekends with our dad, and those visits almost always included a stop at his barbershop. Yep… my dad was a barber.

Now, bless him, he tried.

But let’s just say little girls don’t always leave a barbershop looking like they stepped out of a shampoo commercial. Most of the time, I walked out with what could only be described as “a boy haircut with optimism.” Cute-ish. Practical. Character-building.

That’s when hats became my thing.

And not just any hats. I had this favorite 70s polka-dot choo-choo-train hat that made me feel adorable no matter what was happening underneath it. That hat gave me confidence before I even knew what confidence was.

Years later, after Jeff and I got married and and I started raising our own family, life got beautifully busy. You know the drill ... babies, school pickups, grocery runs, church, laundry, and trying to drink coffee before it got cold. Good hair days became rare little miracles. Hats stayed faithful.

So, I'm the mom of four, mother-in-law to four and a gramma to eight beautiful grandbabies (with more love still on the way), and if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: motherhood runs on love, faith, prayer… and sometimes a really good hat.

Then came our move to Florida.

And if you know anything about Florida humidity, you already understand that hats stopped being an accessory and became part of my survival strategy.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something sweet:

Hats aren’t really about hiding bad hair days.

They’re about expressing. Being you.

They say something without saying a word. They can be funny, bold, faith-filled, encouraging, playful, sassy, hopeful, tired-but-still-showing-up… basically everything motherhood is.

And I started noticing moms everywhere — young moms, seasoned moms, bonus moms, glam moms, exhausted moms — all rocking cute caps, sun hats, bucket hats, messy buns, dry shampoo, humidity hair and all.

Because the right hat doesn’t just pull an outfit together.

Sometimes it pulls you together.

That’s why The Mom Cap Co was born.

We wanted to create hats that celebrate moms on every kind of day — the polished days, the chaotic days, the “Lord-help-me” days, and all the beautiful in-between moments. Hats with personality. Hats with heart. Hats with a little hat’tidude.

We’ve got styles for moms, a few for dads and kiddos too, and we’re always adding new colors, graphics, and designs because motherhood itself is always growing and changing.

You can help single moms! This outreach is about more than hats.

Being raised by a single mom (my mom was our hero!!), I feel God's compassion for these special mommas! Since The Mom Cap is an outreach of Jeff and Beth Jones Ministries, a portion of our proceeds goes toward encouraging and blessing single moms each year. Sometimes that may look like surprising a mom with a new hat. Sometimes it’s sending a grocery gift card at just the right moment.

Because we haven’t forgotten where we came from.

And we never will.
